South Australian Secure Messaging System
SA Health in collaboration with the Country SA Primary Health Network and Adelaide Primary Health Network have commenced a project to implement Secure Messaging (SM) across the state. The aim of the project is to replace fax and hard copy correspondence with secure, digitised options such as electronic referrals and discharge summaries.
As the project progresses, SA Health will request their provider partners cease using fax and hard copy options and transition to Secure Messaging.
The future Electronic Prescribing and Real Time Prescription Monitoring projects will also require similar Healthcare Identifier and NASH PKI Certificate configuration. Undertaking this this survey now will gather the supporting information required for these projects and allow us to provide site specific assistance if required.
Your responses to the following survey will help us assess your Practice and Provider readiness and better prepare you for interacting with SA Health when the time comes. If you have any further questions, please contact the Country SA PHN Digital Health team at support@countrysaphn.com.au or visit our project page at community.healthconnections.com.au/secure-messaging.
